Three witnesses in Sinha’s murder case have been arrested

RAB has arrested three people from the Baharchhara area of ​​Cox’s Bazar in the murder case of Major (retd) Sinha. They are all witnesses in the case filed by the police after Sinha’s murder.

RAB’s law and media branch has reported this news.

According to the RAB, they have asked the court to remand the three for 10 days.

The arrested are Md. Nurul Amin, Md. Ayas and Md. Nizam Uddin.

Md. Nurul Amin is a community police member in Marishbunia, Teknaf. After the murder of Major (retd) Sinha on July 31, the police filed a case with the Teknaf Police Station.

Teknaf police sub-inspector Nandadulal Rokkhit said in the case, community police member Nurul Amin told the outpost in-charge on his mobile phone that night that some robbers were walking here and there with small torch lights on the hill.

Nizamuddin then announced over mike that the robbers had arrived and told the villagers to gather. When they got down and went to Cox’s Bazar by Marine Drive, Nurul Amin informed Liakot Ali, in-charge of Baharchhara Investigation Center, over the phone.

Local residents said three of the arrestees had been missing since the incident.

Ten people have been arrested in a murder case filed by Major (retd) Sinha’s sister Shahriar Sharmin Ferdous.

Ashiq Billah, director of the RAB’s law and media branch, said that after questioning who was responsible for the murder, it could be ascertained.
