General Secretary of Awami League Obaidul Quader said, standing by the people’s plight and extending a helping hand is the tradition of Awami League for 6 decades. He said that besides Covid-19 pandemic, the humanitarian participation of the party leaders and workers in the welfare of the people affected by the cyclone Amphan and the flood victims has continued. Just as the Awami League is with every achievement of the country, so is the Awami League by the side of the people in every disaster-crisis of the country. The tradition of the Awami League for 6 decades is to stand by the side of the people and extend a helping hand of humanitarian aid.

He told on it at a function organized by the Relief and Social Welfare Sub-Committee at the Awami League president’s political office in Dhanmondi on Thursday.
