Faiz Ahmad Babor is known as a struggling man in the movement for the rights of the people of Jaintia. Politically, he was a grassroot activist of Chhatra League. At this time he was the Deputy General Secretary of the Upazila Awami League. He was undergoing treatment at Noorjahan Hospital in the city after suffering a heart attack three days ago. Faiz Ahmed Babor was airlifted to Dhaka on Thursday afternoon for advanced treatment.
